Just a solid selection for a weekend respite in El Calafate with real value for money. The bed was super comfy and made for a great night's sleep after exploring the area. Be ready for a bit of a walk back from the town, as it's on a hill.

A simple breakdown of my experience
An enjoyable stay with a comfy bed and beautiful views. Breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh fruits and the best bread I’ve tasted in Argentina. The only downside was the awkward location, requiring some uphill walking. Still, a charming rustic lodge ambiance made it a memorable getaway.

Our family trip was delightful! The beautiful views from our room were a treat, and the rustic lodge ambiance created a cozy atmosphere for us to relax. The lobby and restaurant area was wonderfully designed, providing a nice spot for downtime. We appreciated the proximity to local attractions like the Argentine Toy Museum, which was just a short walk away, keeping our little ones entertained. The breakfast was substantial, featuring fresh fruits and delicious bread that our kids enjoyed.

Comfortable stay with beautiful views of Lago Argentino. The lobby has stunning wood architecture, which creates a cozy ambiance. Breakfast included fresh fruits and excellent bread that I loved. The Triple Room was spacious, featuring both a full-size bed and a twin bed, great for unwinding after a day of exploring. However, I faced a challenge with the shower temperature fluctuating dramatically, which was frustrating. The location on a hill made it a bit tough to walk back from town, especially after a long day, so prepare for that. The limited English-speaking staff posed some issues when I needed assistance.

The location on a hill requires a bit of uphill walking to reach the town center.

Family with children cozy stay
The lodge really feels like a getaway, the room we had was tight but clean. Also, I must say, the breakfast had this awesome bread, best I’ve tried in Argentina! and the couple running the place were genuine, checking in on us to see if we needed anything.
Look, it wasn’t the cheapest option available but more than acceptable.
